About the project

The idea behind this banner was to create something that is not just a banner but an interactive tool to experience the rich culture of the Sweet Auburn neighborhood.
this banner is a musical instrument inspired by a female black artist from Atlanta. The black colored pattern here is made from a special kind of paint that can conduct electricity and when touched it produces signals and completes the circuit and makes a sound.
thus, several musical notes have been assigned, making this banner an interactive musical instrument.
